The 2016 DNSeattle domain investor event has been scheduled for May 12th. The third annual event will be hosted by GoDaddy at their Kirkland, Washington headquarters. It is being organized by DomainSherpa’s Michael Cyger.
In 2014, DNSeattle was held on top of the Space Needle and there were approximately 50 people in attendance. Last year, the event was held at Rightside’s headquarters, and there were about 75 people in attendance. Michael is hoping to cap the event at around 75 people to keep it more intimate. “I want people to be able to see everyone there, if they want the opportunity to speak to them,” he told me.
Advance registration is required, and the cost to attend the event is $15. Making this event even better is that all proceeds will benefit the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. If you aren’t aware, this is a great organization that is working to find a cure for cancer. In 2015, DomainSherpa raised more than $12,000 for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center through DNSeattle and regular DomainSherpa Review shows where they require a donation (and receipt) to review individual investor portfolios.
Whether you live in the greater Seattle area or are able to make a trip to Seattle, this informal event is a great opportunity to meet other people who are active in the domain investment space. In addition, there will be representatives from GoDaddy and other area companies in attendance. It’s a great opportunity for networking and maybe even some troubleshooting.
Register to attend the event on the DNSeattle.com website. If you have any questions, get in touch with Michael Cyger.
